The food is so good, especially the hamburgers. They also have a fantastic breakfast. Will definitely be on our "must visit" list.

Wow, stopped in here tonight after work and what a treat we received. I was torn between the special of the day and the shipwreck burger. I don't think I would of been disappointed either way. The cheeseburger was juicy, fresh, and full of two kinds of cheese, bacon, and veggies. The sweet potato waffle fries were crispy and full of flavor. I highly recommend this little joint to cure your appetites needs!

Five Star if what you're looking for is cold beer, great bar food and super friendly owner and staff! Love this place and will be going back. Had tap beer, onion rings and beef quesadilla (which was super yummy!). Lee is a hoot, great guy with lots of stories!

When we checked in to the RV park next door, the manager recommended we try Shipwreck Lee's if we wanted something for the evening. Even though we are here in the off season, they were open, and had good food for us. They had beef brisket that had been cooking all day, which was wonderfully moist and tender. Service was friendly, and Shipwreck Lee, himself, took time to greet us and show us a short cut back to the RV park in the dark. While it isn't fancy or pretentious, it was a good meal for a good price. If we ever come back through here we would come back again.

Stopped here on the way home from a motorcycle ride and we were greeted at the door by Ole Shipwreck Lee himself. He was more than cordial and made us feel right at home, even though it was our first time at the restaurant. The bartender and wait staff were also very friendly, but you could tell they were not used to big crowds after having some trouble taking drink/food orders for a table of 20+. I ordered the 1/4lb Shipwreck burger, medium rare, with the works (grilled peppers and onions, lettuce tomato and pickles) and the sweet potato waffle fries. The burger itself came with two types of cheese, American and cheddar I believe, and bacon. The peppers were a first for me, but they really added to the flavor of the burger. It came medium rare as requested and was juicy and delicious, although I'd recommend getting the 1/2lb burger as the 1/4lb'er ended up being a little smaller than expected. The toasted bun also added a little extra crunch to the sandwich, which I liked. The sweet potato waffle fries were flavorful, though not as crisp as I would like. Maybe not the best burger I've had in the area, but I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the meal. This hidden gem is definitely a place I'll be adding to my list of "go-to's" both for the food and atmosphere.
